Student Work
Are you an artist, writer, or you just want to post something you did in the school newspaper? Then do it! This section of the school newspaper is dedicated purely for that purpose. We will be posting any student work that we receive here. You can email us a piece of work that you would like for us to post here at fcechsnewspaper@aol.com, or you can hand it to one of the newspaper club members. Be sure to put your name on the work so you can be credited for your work. However, if you don't want anyone to know it was you, write anonymous on the bottom of the page. We will give you your work back as soon as we have photographed it. We look forward to seeing all of the creative talent that we know is in our school!
Her Angel by Tania Perales (2010) He lived in the sky And he never came down, he watched over her Through the days and the nights, She always believed there was Something out there. In their hearts they were together No need to see, speak, or feel. She knew that her angel, Would always be there. He would never come down, But she would one day go up. Their hearts would unite, And she would be his angel. | A Little Girl's Words to God... by Macy Terrell (2010) My dad is my hero...so many images come to mind whenever I speak your name; it seems without you in my life things have never been the same. What happened to those lazy days when I was just a child; when my life was consumed in your love and your smile? What happened to all those times when I looked to you; no matter what happened in my life you could make the gray skies go blue? Dad, some days I hear your voice and turn to see your face; yet in my turning, the sound has been erased. Dad, who will I turn to for answers when life doesn't make sense? Who will be there to hold me when the pieces just don't fit? Dad, if I could turn back time and once more hear your voice, I'd tell you out of all the dads in the world you'd still be my choice. Please always know that I love you, and no one would ever take your place. Years may come and go but your memory will never be erased. Today, Jesus, as you are listening in your home above, would you go find my dad and give him all my love? |
